MOTO : "Be proactive not Reactive"
Under the Productivity & Quality Promotion Programme (P&QPP ), Ocean University is starting daily activities having honoured the Motherland and the Nation.
The Programe was initiated by the Chairman and Director General by hosing the National Flag on 01 st of February 2012.

Events of the programme
- The month of March 2012 has been declared as the "Productivity & Quality Promotion month" and special programme is scheduled to implement throughout the month.
- New Procurement division is established and e- Procurement will be introduced. The documents related to all kind of procurement notices can be downloaded.
- All communications are limited only for emailing.
- Management committees are conducted in colleges so that all senior managers could visit colleges monthly. In these visits the top Management can very closely identify the real situation of the colleges. More practical solutions can be found for problems. The first meeting is scheduled to be held in Tangalle and the second meeting will be in Jaffna in March. The third meeting will be held in Galle not in the office but in a vessel in the sea.
